With the power sapped from his bat, Colorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra is still keeping himself relevant in the lineup by staying active on the basepaths. Parra stole his fourth base of the season on Friday in a losing effort against the Brewers, and he racked up four hits in the game. Parra is now hitting .275 on the season as he tries to battle to keep his everyday spot. Due to injuries and suspensions, the door has opened for some of Colorado’s younger outfielders like David Dahl and Noel Cuevas to get some playing time recently, and both have done quite well. Parr and Carlos Gonzalez are now seeing some more off days than normal so the younger guys can get in the lineup. While CarGo’s playing time seems to be the most in jeopardy, Parra has quite a fight ahead of him as well.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
