Gerald Everett Sits Out Sunday's Scrimmage
1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (illness) was unable to participate in Sunday's scrimmage. Both Everett and pass rusher Joey Bosa sat out on Sunday due to what is believed to be minor illnesses. The expectation is that both players will be fine within the next few days. However, it's unclear if they will suit up for the upcoming preseason opener versus the Los Angeles Rams. Everett exceeded expectations during his first season with the Chargers. He hauled in a career-high 58 receptions for 555 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games. He'll likely remain outside the top-10 in terms of fantasy value for tight ends next season. However, Everett should still be able to be a productive player considering what he did last season.
