2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (wrist) and infielder Santiago Espinal (oblique) are both in the starting lineup for Game 2 of the American League Wild-Card Series on Saturday against Seattle Mariners left-hander Robbie Ray. Springer is in center field and hitting leadoff, while Espinal is manning the keystone and batting ninth. Springer was hit by a pitch late in the Game 1 loss, but X-rays were negative and he'll be back in there after going 2-for-3 on Friday. Espinal missed the last couple weeks of regular season action due to an oblique issue, but he'll return to the lineup on Saturday as Toronto looks to avoid elimination. The 27-year-old All-Star hit .267/.322/.370 with seven homers, 51 RBI, 51 runs and six steals in 135 games in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
