Former major champion Gary Woodland has had quite a tough time finding consistent success on the PGA Tour since the restart after the COVID-19 pause in June of 2020. Woodland did have five top-15 finishes in 2021, but the season was littered with missed cuts and disappointing performances. Luckily for Woodland, he is back at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, where he is a past champion (2018) and has had four top-16 finishes during his career. He has gained over a stroke on approach in nine of his 11 starts at this event, which has led to much of his success. If he can get back to that form with his irons, this could be an event to springboard Woodland's season in 2022.--Owen Vrabel - RotoBaller
