Frederik Andersen Takes On Boston Sunday
2 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen will get the tough assignment of facing the Boston Bruins on Sunday. Pyotr Kochetkov took care of the Maple Leafs Saturday and now it's Andersen's turn to guard the crease against the league leaders. After missing a large chunk of the season with health issues, Andersen is getting only his 28th start of the campaign Sunday. He has gone 19-8-0 so far, registering a 2.44 goals-against average with a .903 save percentage and one shutout. Boston has lost only 16 times this season, so Andersen faces a very difficult matchup. Although the Hurricanes boast a very good home record in the matchup, having won six in a row at the PNC Arena.
