San Diego Padres outfielder Franchy Cordero crushed his seventh home run Tuesday night against the Washington Nationals. The 449-foot bomb was his first in May. Cordero has only six hits in his last 10 games, but the rookie has held his own this season slashing 252/.319/.466. He also has five steals to pair with the long balls. Cordero still has issues with strikeouts (35 percent) but hits the ball extremely hard (97.3 mph FB/LD exit velocity) and has been playing regularly for the Padres. Remarkably, Tuesday's blast was only his fourth-longest this season. The homers and steals should keep coming and Cordero is worth a roster spot in 12-plus team leagues.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
