New York Rangers center Filip Chytil (upper body) practiced in a non-contact jersey on Saturday. The Czech forward suffered an upper-body injury in practice last week, and it's put a serious dent in his preparations for the new campaign. Returning to practice is a positive sign, but it's still unclear if Chytil can get himself game-ready for Thursday's season opener versus Buffalo. 2023-24 is expected to be a big year for Chytil as the Rangers' second-line center. Fellow center Tyler Pitlick (upper body) was also back in practice Saturday and wore a regular jersey, meaning he is set to be available for the team next week.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
