Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin is not quite ready for his season debut just yet. The forward is still in a white no-contact jersey which he was spotted wearing Monday afternoon. It has been a long recovery for the former All-Star. His surgery was all the way back in June. Six months later, Malkin has still not played a shift for the Penguins. The hope now is that he is able to play before Christmas Break. Sure, it could be any time now but until he sheds the no-contact jersey, Malkin will not even be a thought in Pittsburgh's plans. The last time the center played in a game was March 16th against the Boston Bruins -- almost nine months ago.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
