Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin (lower body) is a game-time call for Thursday's tilt against Edmonton. The Russian star missed his first game of the season on Tuesday versus Columbus but might be ready to jump back into the lineup on Thursday. Malkin practiced on Wednesday, although he did not participate in line rushes. Cody Glass is set to continue as the second-line center if Malkin can't play on Thursday. Glass did not make a significant impact in an expanded role on Tuesday, finishing a 4-3 shootout loss without any points and zero shots on goal. He has tallied nine points (one goal, eight assists) in 29 appearances across the season.--Taavi Pailk
