Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Erik Cernak (undisclosed) will not play against Detroit on Saturday. He logged just 34 seconds against Anaheim on Thursday, exiting the action with an undisclosed injury. Maxwell Crozier will enter the lineup for his season debut. The 24-year-old had his first 13 NHL career games with the Lightning last term, notching two assists with 13 shots, 11 blocks, and 16 hits. Crozier will be partnered with Ryan McDonagh on the second defensive pairing. Cernak will get his first chance to return on Monday against Toronto.--Taavi Pailk
