1 year agoHouston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon continued his torrid scoring stretch in a blowout win over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. He scored 26 points, on an efficient 8-for-16 shooting and splashed home seven three-pointers. Gordon also had three rebounds and two assists to round out his line. After a nightmare shooting stretch to start the year, Gordon has finally found his stroke recently. Over his last four games, Gordon is scoring 26.8 points-per-game on 48.6 percent shooting and hitting 5.8 three pointers-per-game. However, it should be noted, that even when Gordon's shot is falling he hardly contributes in other areas. Over that same 4 game stretch, he’s averaged just 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.8 steals-per-game. Gordon will look to continue his hot shooting against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night, who are giving up 112.6 points-per-game as a team this year.--Daniel Brodie
