Eric Gordon 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard/small forward Eric Gordon enters the 2019-20 season still as one the league’s best threats from downtown. Last season, Gordon connected on 3.2 makes from three at a solid 36.0% clip and managed to average 16.2 points for the second time in three years. Outside of these two stats, Gordon does not provide much for owners. He has suited up in just 68.5 games a year over the last two seasons and only shot a paltry 40.9% from the floor overall, with 8.8 of his 13.8 field goal attempts coming from beyond the arc. He has shown the ability to create off the dribble in the past, but with the addition of Russell Westbrook, Gordon will continue to be a one-dimensional player for the Rockets this season. If you are need of triples in the later rounds of your draft, then Gordon is worth a look, especially if you are punting field-goal percentage or in a points league.
