Enmanuel Valdez Homers, Scores Three Times In Win
6 months agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Enmanuel Valdez went 2-for-3 in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jays, recording his sixth home run of the season, which was a solo shot off Jays starter Kevin Gausman. The 25-year-old also walked once and scored three times. The left-handed hitter has a .215 average on the season, but is batting .341 (15-for-44) in June with six doubles, four home runs, 14 RBI, 10 runs scored, a 7:5 BB:K, and one stolen base in 16 games. Although he's having a nice month, Valdez is hard to trust for season-long fantasy, as he rarely gets at-bats versus left-handed pitching and he's likely due for some regression.
