Enes Kanter Has Monster Double-Double
6 years agoNew York Knicks center Enes Kanter had a huge night coming off the bench in the double-overtime loss against the Bulls. Kanter put up a monster double-double, recording 23 points and 24 rebounds. He shot 8-for-14 from the field and 7-for-8 from the free-throw line. Kanter also added in a game-high seven assists in what was his best outing of the year. This is the eighth double-digit rebound game of the season, as well as his seventh double-double. He saw 41 minutes in the overtime game, in part due to the extended length, but it was the most playing time he saw since all season, and his first 30+ minute outing since October 22nd. Hopefully Head Coach David Fizdale doesn’t continue to limit the utilization of Kanter as he is one of the elite rebounders across the league, averaging more than 10.5 boards per game this season.
