Elmer Soderblom Not Playing On Thursday
Detroit Red Wings left wing Elmer Soderblom (undisclosed) will not play on Thursday evening against the Ottawa Senators. Soderblom was unable to play in their previous contest and has missed two out of his past three contests due to this injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Saturday evening against the Boston Bruins. Since the start of the month (10 games), Soderblom has found the back of the net twice and added two helpers. During this stretch, Soderblom has logged 10 shots on goal and added 10 hits and six blocked shots. With the 23-year-old sitting out on Thursday, fantasy managers should expect Jonatan Berggren to remain in the starting lineup and play on the third offensive line.
