Elijah Higgins Is A Streaming Option Until Trey McBride Returns
3 months agoArizona Cardinals star tight end Trey McBride (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Washington Commanders as he remains in concussion protocol. In his absence, backup tight end Elijah Higgins will step into the starting role. The Cardinals' coaching staff has shown confidence in Higgins, who has seen significant playing time as the team frequently runs two-tight end sets. While Higgins has only been targeted four times this season, he's caught all of them, including a touchdown in Week 2 against the Rams. Kyler Murray tends to favor his tight ends, and with Higgins now starting, he's likely to see an increase in targets against a weak Commanders defense. McBride managers could consider streaming Higgins until McBride is ready to return.
