Vancouver Canucks center Elias Pettersson made his return from a knee injury on Sunday, notching two points in a 3-2 win over Detroit. He opened the scoring and recorded an assist on a Bo Horvat goal. Brock Boeser had two assists, while Frans Nielsen and Thomas Vanek both tallied a goal and an assist for Detroit. Despite missing six games, Pettersson still holds a comfortable lead in rookie scoring with 44 points. He's got nearly twice as many goals (23) as the next best first-year player. The young Swede has formed a very productive partnership with Boeser, and both look set for a very successful second half of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
