Washington Capitals center Dylan Strome (illness) has been cleared to play on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. Strome was initially iffy for the contest after coming down with an illness and missing Monday's practice. The talented centerman will maintain a proud ironman streak, as Strome has not missed any regular-season action since the start of 2023-24. This season, he has tallied 65 points (21 goals, 44 assists) over 67 games. Strome has shown great chemistry with Alex Ovechkin throughout the campaign, helping the Capitals captain get within eight goals of breaking the NHL's all-time record.--Taavi Pailk
