Dylan Moore To Miss Multiple Weeks
Dylan Moore (oblique) is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering an injury on Thursday. The 30-year-old is likely to miss 2-4 weeks after being diagnosed with an oblique strain. He was already questionable for Opening Day while recovering from core muscle surgery. Now, the Mariners might hold him out longer than this timetable until he's back to full health. His absence means that Cooper Hummel and Mason McCoy have a better chance at making the Opening Day roster. Moore wasn't a great fantasy option anyway, but this injury means he can probably be avoided in most leagues. His best attribute is his speed, which makes him a possible deep league option when healthy.
