Dustin Wolf Re-Signs With Flames
5 months agoCalgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf was re-signed to a two-year, $1.7 million contract on Tuesday. It's a two-way deal for the first year and a one-way deal for the second season. Wolf has been sensational at the AHL level, earning the best goaltender award twice, and he saw action in 17 NHL games with the Flames last season. The 23-year-old went a respectable 7-7-1 in 15 starts, although keeping the puck out of the net caused some trouble to him. Wolf finished the campaign with a 3.16 goals-against average and a .893 save percentage. With Jacob Markstrom moving to New Jersey, Wolf has a chance to pick up a lot more work next season. He will be competing for playing time with Daniel Vladar.
