11 months agoPerhaps just one player had a strong game for the New York Yankees Thursday night in a laugher of a defeat to the Boston Red Sox. That would be starting shortstop Didi Gregorius, who started the scoring with a three-run bomb in the opening inning, seemingly putting the Yankees on the right track towards a victory. He would go on to smash another home run in the aftermath of a chaotic fourth inning for his club’s pitching. While Giancarlo Stanton is the biggest name still in the lineup following Aaron Judge’s injury, Gregorius could be the man to lead the offense while last year’s AL Rookie of the Year recovers.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
