5 months agoOn Saturday, the Arizona Diamondbacks called up shortstop Domingo Leyba. The move came a day after the team sent first baseman Kevin Cron to Triple-A. Leyba has a slash line of .289/.343/.515 with 10 home runs, 49 runs and 41 RBI in 66 games at Triple-A this year. In addition to shortstop, Leyba also plays second base, but neither position appears to be one of weakness for the Diamondbacks right now. Ketel Marte has had a monster year and is the team's primary second baseman, while Nick Ahmed has had a solid year at shortstop for the team. Cron is the more intriguing prospect so it's bad news for fantasy owners that he's back in the minors. Leyba, meanwhile, can be left on waivers.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
