5 years agoMiami Heat forward Derrick Jones was able to pull off a narrow victory over forward Aaron Gordon during Saturday's Slam Dunk contest. It took an extra round to determine the winner after both players slammed down two 50-point dunks. Pat Connaughton finished third and Dwight Howard fourth, but an argument could be made for both Jones and Gordon deserving to win. Jones is the first Heat slam dunk champion since Harold Miner in 1995.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
