Denzel Perryman Makes Diving Interception In Loss
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman made an incredible diving interception in Sunday's game as the Chargers tried to come back from an early hole, but the effort was for naught. Facing a rookie quarterback getting his first start in the NFL, Perryman and the rest of the Chargers Defense did a wonderful job of holding Denver to just 218 total yards. Unfortunately, turnovers left the Broncos with some short fields, and they were able to rack up 23 points with those measly yards. A critical last-second pass interference call allowed Denver to kick the winning field goal, and the defense was saddled with another loss that wasn't really their fault in a lot of ways. Hopefully, they can bounce back against a struggling Jaguars team.
