Denny Hamlin entered Sunday's HighPoint.com 400 at Pocono Raceway as the favorite to win the race, and that's exactly what happened. For the second year in a row, Hamlin crossed the finish line first at "The Tricky Triangle," although this year he wasn't disqualified and was allowed to keep the win. Still, controversy surrounded Hamlin's win. On a late restart, Hamlin and Kyle Larson were racing hard for the lead, and it appeared that Denny's No. 11 Toyota went up and knocked Larson's No. 5 Chevrolet into the wall. Still, Hamlin maintains his innocence, stating after the race, "I put both those guys, the 48 (Hamlin got Alex Bowman loose earlier in the race) and 5, in an aero situation. Didn't touch either one. How can you wreck someone you don't touch?" When asked about whether or not he raced Larson with respect, Hamlin responded, "We're racing for the win. Are you shitting me?" It will be interesting to see how the two race around each other as the rest of the season goes on.--Jordan McAbee
