Dennis Schroder Bags Another Double-Double
1 year agoToronto Raptors point guard Dennis Schroder made it three double-doubles in four games with 24 points and 11 assists in Wednesday's impressive 130-111 win over the Bucks. He added four rebounds to his tally with one steal, shooting 9-for-13 from the field and 2-for-4 from outside. Schroder has always been known as a score-first point guard, but he appears to have reinvented his game in Canada and sits among the league leaders in assists early in the season. He has averaged 9.2 dimes while posting 16.2 points with 50 percent shooting from deep. Schroder will now enter a pair of very juicy matchups against San Antonio and Philadelphia, two teams that have struggled to contain opposing point guards. The Spurs have even allowed the most points in the league per 48 minutes to the position.
