DeMar DeRozan Drops Team-High 26 Points As Chicago's Season Ends
2 years agoChicago Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan led the team with 26 points in Friday's 102-91 loss in the play-in tournament against Miami. He also had nine assists with four rebounds and one steal, but Zach LaVine was limited to only 15 points and the Heat pulled themselves clear in the fourth quarter, winning the frame 35-23. DeRozan finished his second season in Chi-Town averaging 24.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.1 steals. The six-time All-Star turns 34 before the next season starts and players respond differently to aging, but DeRozan has become a very good all-around player during the latter stages of his career and should still remain an impactful fantasy player, even when he eventually won't be a 20-point scorer anymore.
