Dejounte Murray Sniffs Triple-Double In Loss
7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray was just four assists shy of his first triple-double of the season. In the 10-point loss to the Lakers, Murray had 23 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block. Murray got to the free-throw line 13 times, which is highly unusual for him, considering he is averaging 1.7 attempts on the season. Murray will have to bring his defensive A game on Saturday when they host the Trail Blazers. The dangerous back court of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum will keep Murray busy on the defensive end of the floor, maybe sapping some of his energy he'd usually expend on the offensive end of the floor. Murray may have a higher ownership percentage after this stellar game, but staying away from him may be a wise move in daily fantasy tournaments.
