Deebo Samuel Dominates In Wild Card Round Win
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught six passes for 133 yards and a touchdown in the Niners' 41-23 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round. The touchdown came early in the second quarter when Samuel caught an eight-yard pass and took it 66 yards down the field behind blocking by George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk. Samuel also carried the ball three times for 32 yards. In the third quarter, Seahawks safety Jonathan Abram grabbed Samuel's ankle and twisted in after a play. Samuel walked to the sideline and came back before scoring a touchdown later. The dirty play did not seem to hurt Samuel, but it did cause a brief scuffle to break out. Samuel should be okay for the Divisional Round and continue to be a high-upside option.
