2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught two passes for 20 yards in his return to the 49ers lineup, a 38-13 Week 18 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He also ran the ball once for four yards. Samuel was carted off the field in Week 14 with an ankle and knee injury, but luckily for the Niners, the injuries were not as bad as it looked. They turned out to be sprains to his MCL and ankle, which did not require surgery. So the 26-year-old will add to an already explosive 49ers offense during the playoffs. It would have been hard for anyone to capitalize on the amazing 2021 season Samuel had, and he was unable to. His scrimmage yardage declined from 1,770 yards to 864. But he did finish as a top 10 WR twice and a top 20 WR two more times despite missing four games.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
