New Jersey Devils forward Dawson Mercer produced another productive performance in Thursday's 3-2 shootout victory over Washington, extending his point streak to 11 games. He had his 22nd goal of the campaign and a power-play assist in the contest. Mercer now shares the franchise record for the longest point streak by a player before age 22 with Brendan Shanahan. The young Canadian was having a relatively quiet sophomore campaign in the league before suddenly exploding for 11 goals and eight assists during his current scoring run. It's pushed Mercer to new career highs in all the major offensive categories as he boasts 48 points through 64 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
