David Peterson Scheduled To Start Wednesday
7 months agoNew York Mets pitcher David Peterson (hip) is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Peterson has not pitched in the majors yet this year as he was recovering from offseason hip surgery. The 28-year-old looked solid during his rehab stint where he made six starts across three different levels of the minor leagues. While that was encouraging, Peterson posted a dismal 3-8 record to go along with a 5.03 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 128:50 K:BB across 27 appearances in 2023. He may eventually offer some streaming upside to fantasy managers but it will not come on Wednesday against the potent Dodgers offense.
