David Moore 2019 Outlook - Seattle's Forgotten Weapon
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore was a popular dart throw player in DFS during the 2018 NFL season. In the mid-way point of the season, Moore provided some punch for very little price and even was seen picked up off of waivers. But outside of his decent four-game totals (Weeks 5, 6, 8, and 12) he was largely useless in fantasy. Now, as we enter the 2019 season, Moore is looking to take a step forward with the retirement of Doug Baldwin. But with the selection of rookie wideout D.K. Metcalf, his ascension on the roster may be blocked. Moore will again be in a position to provide value, but consistency will be an issue. He will be worth a look late in redraft leagues, but ultimately will be a player that is on and off waivers this year. Moore may appear to be a deep sleeper with opportunity but he could easily fall behind Metcalf and even Jaron Brown, who has drawn rave reviews this offseason. It's best to leave Moore alone outside of dynasty leagues.
