6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop David Fletcher is back in the lineup and will hit leadoff Friday against the Rays. Fletcher pinch-hit in Thursday's game but has not started since June 7 with a sore left shoulder. Fletcher has been a versatile weapon this season for the Angels, hitting .306 with 18 extra-base hits and 32 runs scored. He also has been a fantastic leadoff hitter, hitting .290 from the top spot in the lineup. Fletcher will have a tough test Friday against the Rays Blake Snell. The 25-year-old infielder/outfielder is hitting only .247 against left-handed pitching this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
