Detroit Lions quarterback David Fales went 12/19 for 226 yards and a touchdown in the Lions second preseason game against the Texans. With Tom Savage out on concussion protocol, Fales is competing with Josh Johnson to be Stafford's backup come regular season in a few weeks. This performance will certainly help Fales' case.
