David Dahl Hits Grand Slam In Win
5 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl carried the team's offense in their win over the Giants on Wednesday when he lifted a shot over the left-center wall for a grand slam in the top of the third inning. Dahl's opposite-field drive on the full-count fastball broke the game open and allowed Colorado's pitching staff to cruise to victory. It's Dahl's third home run in four days, all of which have come on the road at notoriously pitcher-friendly parks. He'll now head back to the friendly confines of Coors Field, where his batting average is 127 points higher. If Dahl can start adding more homers to his arsenal, he could be one of the best values of the second half of the season.
