Darius Garland Hurts Wrist In Sunday's Loss
9 months agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland was seen icing his left wrist/forearm following Sunday's defeat to Brooklyn, which leaves him with a question mark for Monday's contest against Phoenix. He finished Sunday's matchup with 14 points, five assists, and one steal across 27 minutes of action. Garland's line included a team-worst four turnovers. It was a poor outing, but the entire team struggled, and head coach J. B. Bickerstaff pulled the plug early in the contest, with Garland not seeing any action in the fourth quarter. Donovan Mitchell (knee) is considered unlikely to return on Monday, which means we'll get a big dosage of Craig Porter Jr. running the offense if Garland can't play, while Caris LeVert should get all the shots he wants.
