Dante Nori Selected At No.27
5 months agoThe Philadelphia Phillies selected outfielder Dante Nori with the 27th overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. Nori is the oldest high school player in this class, as he will turn 20 years old just three months after the draft. Nori is credited with having a mature approach at the plate with a strong eye for the strike zone. Scouts also praise his ability to shorten his stroke in two-strike counts. The outfielder focuses more on producing line drives than putting the ball into the seats. In addition, Nori possesses elite base-running skills and is not afraid to swipe a bag. Nori will join a Phillies system that has another budding outfield star in Justin Crawford.
