Danilo Gallinari Signing With Hawks
4 years agoThe Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a three-year, $61.5 million deal with free agent forward Danilo Gallinari. The veteran forward spent last season in Oklahoma City, but the Thunder are starting a rebuild. With averages of 18.7 points and 5.2 rebounds on 40.5 percent shooting from deep last year, Gallo is a huge addition for a Hawks team that wants to make the postseason. This front court will be tough to project and we'll have to see who starts at the three and the four, but Gallinari should have a more secure role than John Collins or De'Andre Hunter. Consider him a solid mid-round target.
