Daniel Hudson Notches Ninth Save Of Season Monday
4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Daniel Hudson picked up his ninth save of the season in Monday's 5-2 win over the Brewers. Hudson came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by three and delivered a 1-2-3 performance with no strikeouts. Despite converting just nine of 15 save opportunities this season, the 37-year-old veteran has pitched well overall, compiling a 2.02 ERA with a 9.18 K/9 rate and a 2.02 BB/9 rate in 49 innings of work. The Dodgers have spread the save opportunities among their bullpen once again this season, with three different relievers seeing a save opportunity in the last seven days. However, Hudson has been the best of them lately and has served as a closer at times throughout his career, so he seems to be the arm to roster for fantasy down the stretch.
