D'Andre Swift Limited in Practice Wednesday
Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (groin) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Swift missed his first game of the season in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but is on the right track to return in Week 10. The 26-year-old has been a mainstay on the Bears' injury report since Week 7 with a nagging groin injury, and perhaps the week off will allow him to be healthier for the second half of the season. Rookie Kyle Monangai broke out in his absence, totaling 198 yards on 29 touches in Week 9. Chicago may lean on the rookie's bruising running style more to complement Swift in the future, but Swift was running really well when he was healthy, and Monangai was also limited in Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury. There's a good chance Swift only misses one game, and his status will be updated in the coming days.
