Dalvin Cook - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook's fantasy managers were understandably disappointed in their first-round pick in Week 8. Cook only managed 7.8 points in PPR leagues against a Dallas Cowboys team playing with a backup quarterback and expected to have trouble moving the football. That was not the case and the Vikings were forced to throw the ball 35 times in the contest, with only two of those targets going to Cook. Week 9 brings a Baltimore Ravens defense ranked 25th against opposing fantasy running backs, so the opportunity will be there for a bounce-back performance from Cook. The Ravens are giving up an average of 20.2 points per game to running backs and teammate Alexander Mattison is only averaging 2.25 rush attempts and 1 target per game in Cook's four full games this season. Look for Cook to once again put up RB1 numbers in Week 9.
