Dallas Goedert 2018 Outlook: A Path To Nowhere
6 years agoThe most exciting part of Dallas Goedert's season might just be his draft announcement by David Akers in Dallas. With arguably a top-three tight end ahead of him in Zach Ertz, Goedert will not get much playing time this season or any time in the near future as long as Ertz is healthy. While Brent Celek retired and Trey Burton has moved on to Chicago making him the number two tight end on the Eagles, Goedert will still find no value to owners who draft him, barring serious injury to Ertz. If you are in a dynasty league, you could use a very late round pick on him hoping he hits in three years but in redraft, don’t bother wasting the roster spot, as rookie tight ends rarely make an impact in any case.
