Dak Prescott May Not Be Placed On Injured Reserve
1 month agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) may not be placed on Injured Reserve, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Owner Jerry Jones expressed that, "He doesn't want surgery. He wants to be on the field and go for it. We'll just see how it goes here," when discussing Prescott's status. Prescott has already been ruled out for this weekend's contest and will likely face an uphill battle to return within the next four weeks. However, seeing Jones' optimism surrounding his quarterback may suggest he may not miss as much time as previously expected. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progress over the next few weeks. For now, Cooper Rush will serve as the starting QB and should be viewed as low-end QB2 in superflex formats.
