Curtis Samuel Still Not Practicing
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) wasn't able to get on the practice field on Wednesday in the team's first practice following their bye. It's pretty surprising that Samuel isn't on Injured Reserve for the second time this season at this point. It's an injury that the 25-year-old has been dealing with since the summer, and he hasn't played since Week 5. With no return on the horizon, he can remain firmly on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues. Behind top receiver Terry McLaurin, Adam Humphries has been the team's No. 2 with 20 catches for 220 yards on 29 targets, well behind McLaurin's team-leading 76 targets. DeAndre Carter and rookie Dyami Brown will continue to battle for work as the No. 3 with Samuel sidelined.
