Curtis Samuel Catches Both Targets in Preseason Opener

Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel saw two targets in Washington's loss to the Carolina Panthers. The former Buckeye was the recipient of Carson Wentz's first pass of the game, racking up six yards before converting on third down off an eight-yard reception. His 14 total yards weren't much, but it was encouraging to see the 26-year-old back on the field after an injury-riddled 2021. With Samuel also getting work with the first team, he could be a nice speculative pick late in drafts heading into the season.
