After a solid 2024 season, Cristopher Sánchez fully broke out in 2025. In 32 starts, Sánchez posted a stellar 2.50 ERA and 1.06 WHIP with a 5.5% walk rate and a career-best 26.3% strikeout rate. The low ratios were obviously great, but Sánchez increasing his strikeout rate while providing elite volume was the key to his breakout. Sánchez increased the whiff rate on his changeup from 34.8% to 45.1% and on his slider from 30.3% to 33.6%. All while still maintaining a low walk rate and high groundball rate. If the higher strikeout rate from 2025 can stick in 2026, Sánchez should be able to maintain his status as a Top-10 starting pitcher for fantasy.--Eric Cross
