Corey Seager Homers, Drives In Three On Friday
5 months agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager was the lone bright spot in his team's 6-3 loss to the Houston Astros on Friday. Seager went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI but it wasn't enough in the loss to his team's division rivals. The star infielder's homer, a two-run shot, came in the sixth inning off Houston starter Hunter Brown. Seager later provided the Rangers' only other run with an RBI single in the seventh inning. In what is shaping up as another excellent season at the plate, Seager is hitting .272 with 18 homers, 43 runs, 48 RBI, and one steal across 309 at-bats.
