Corey Seager Has Bad Game 1 Matchup
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager will have a tough task against the Nationals Game 1 starter, left-handed starter Patrick Corbin, on Thursday. In 25 career at-bats against Corbin specifically, Seager has only four hits for a .160 batting average. Combine that with a .703 OPS against left-handed pitching this season and the 25-year-old shortstop may not be a smart DFS option to open the playoffs. Seager has, however, slashed .266/.310/.496 in the second half of the season with 11 home runs and 23 doubles. Fantasy owners may need to wait for a better matchup before deploying Seager in lineups.
