Corey Kluber Transferred To 60-Day Injured List
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Corey Kluber (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday. Kluber was diagnosed with a right shoulder strain, though the move to the 60-day injured list isn't because of a new development in his status but for roster management purposes. The veteran hurler was able to resume throwing on Friday and was running in the outfield on Saturday- both encouraging signs- though his return is still weeks away. Hopefully, Kluber looks more like he did in May than April when he returns. He pitched a 2.27 ERA in 31 2/3 innings with a 36:10 strikeout-to-walk ratio in May.
